1. Homemade Tomato Ketchup
Every household will have a bottle of tomato ketchup in their fridge (or cupboard) and what better way to save yourself some money by creating your own? 6. Preserve your tomatoes
Ok, so maybe you’ve got to the point where you’ve made your ketchup, aioli and bruschetta and you’re still overloaded with tomatoes, and that’s ok!
If you want to save them for stews in the winter, then all you need to do is freeze them. But if you’re hoping when you defrost your tomatoes, they’re going to be fresh they probably won’t be… But if you want to pop a few away for cooking in the winter, you can just put them straight in. Tomatoes can be frozen for up to six months as long as they’re in an airtight container.
